- RLUSD is available on the Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp, and will be available directly on the Robinhood app by the end of 2026, Ripple confirmed.
- Robinhood will use RLUSD on the XRP Ledger to enable institutional settlement using Bitstamp. The platform will also use the Ripple Treasury solution to enable cash forecasting, liquidity management, and AI capabilities as well as intercompany netting.
- Ripple Prime is providing Bitstamp lending and margin services across approximately 20 digital assets, with perpetual futures support to follow.
- JPMorgan kept a Neutral rating on HOOD but raised its price target to $115 from $103 following the Ripple partnership announcement.
Ripple confirmed that its RLUSD stablecoin will become available directly on the Robinhood app by the end of 2026, extending a partnership that already spans Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp, the digital asset exchange Robinhood acquired for $200 million in June 2025.
Ripple is officially going under the hood. 👀
We’re expanding our partnership with @RobinhoodApp across $RLUSD, Ripple Prime and Ripple Treasury, bringing together stablecoins, prime brokerage and treasury management to support both customer-facing services and core financial operations.
Together, we’re bridging traditional and digital.

RLUSD is already live on both Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp; the planned app integration will give access to RLUSD to Robinhood’s 28.6 million funded customers in a single step from within the consumer app.
Ripple Treasury Adopted For Payments & Liquidity Management
As part of the partnership, Robinhood is adopting Ripple Treasury, an enterprise platform for automated cash forecasting, liquidity management, payments processing, AI-powered financial tools, and intercompany netting.
Robinhood will also use RLUSD on the XRP Ledger for institutional settlement activity channelled through Bitstamp, meaning large internal and counterparty transfers will settle in RLUSD rather than in traditional fiat channels.
Ripple President Monica Long described the arrangement as a reflection of growing institutional demand for integrated blockchain-based financial solutions.
Ripple Prime Lending & JPMorgan Reaction
Ripple Prime, Ripple’s institutional prime brokerage service, is providing Bitstamp with lending and margin support across approximately 20 digital assets, with perpetual futures products expected to follow. One complicating factor is that Robinhood co-founded the Global Dollar Network and USDG is the default lending asset for Robinhood Earn, Robinhood’s yield product.
No changes to that USDG arrangement were announced alongside the Ripple news. JPMorgan, responding to the Ripple partnership, maintained a Neutral rating on HOOD but raised its 12-month price target to $115 from $103, reflecting improved confidence in Robinhood’s institutional business.
