The Hong Kong-based stablecoin payments provider added that its money laundering controls and counterterrorism funding measures were examined in a separate audit conducted by a Big Four firm. The accounting companies implicated were not identified by RedotPay.
The completed financial audit is an important step for a potential U.S. listing, where IPO filings require audited financial statements. However, RedotPay has not disclosed when it expects to file its prospectus or begin trading in the United States.
CEO and co-founder Michael Gao said the reviews were intended to strengthen confidence in the company’s financial reporting and compliance standards while supporting its public-market preparations.
IPO Valuation Reportedly Tops $5 Billion
RedotPay’s plans for an initial public offering (IPO) first surfaced earlier this year. According to sources, the business may seek more than $1 billion in new funding at a valuation of more than $4 billion.
The company is looking for a valuation of more than $5 billion, according to a person familiar with the situation. RedotPay has not publicly confirmed the valuation target.
The company has also reported record second-quarter results across users, revenue, profit and margins. Its transaction volume reached a record during the period, while its operating margin exceeded 50%, according to the person.
RedotPay raised $194 million through financing rounds in 2025, including a $107 million Series B backed by Goodwater Capital, Pantera Capital and Blockchain Capital.
Compliance Expands Across Hong Kong & The U.S.
RedotPay’s AML and CFT review covered its licensed Hong Kong subsidiaries, including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, governance, staff training and compliance resources. The company is also expanding its U.S. regulatory presence after securing its first U.S. money transmitter license in August.
Founded in 2023, RedotPay provides stablecoin wallets, Visa-linked payment cards and global payout services. Its customer base reached 8.5 million by July, while the company operates across more than 100 countries.
Binance Dispute Continues
RedotPay’s IPO preparations are moving forward alongside legal disputes involving Binance-linked companies. Binance affiliates have sought nearly $473 million in damages in Hong Kong, alleging misuse of confidential information and customer diversion. RedotPay has rejected the allegations and said it will vigorously defend the claims.
