Michael Saylor’s Strategy Adds $264M Bitcoin, Holdings Cross 712,000 BTC

Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy has added more Bitcoin to its already huge holdings. According to a recent SEC filing, the company bought another 2,932 BTC for about $264 million between January 20 and January 25. Each Bitcoin was purchased at an average price of $90,061.

With this purchase, Strategy now owns a total of 712,647 Bitcoin, which is worth nearly $62.5 billion at current market prices. Across all its purchases, the company’s average Bitcoin buying price stands at $76,037. In total, Strategy has invested around $54.2 billion in Bitcoin, including fees.

This massive holding represents about 3.4% of Bitcoin’s total fixed supply of 21 million coins. Based on current prices, the company is sitting on unrealized gains of roughly $8.3 billion.
