GRAM is gaining market attention after Telegram CEO Pavel Durov confirmed that the platform has begun rolling out its native Gram Wallet to a selected group of users. This move places Telegram’s self‑custodial crypto wallet inside its messaging platform, and it could make the service available to more than one billion users.

Durov confirmed that Gram Wallet is now accessible to a select group of Telegram users. Over the coming weeks, he said, the corporation will gradually expand access to its user base of, more than a billion people.
Because Gram Wallet does not hold users’ keys, users stay in control of their cryptocurrency. Since the wallet is built into Telegram, users can manage their digital assets more easily without needing another app.
Its planned instant and zero-fee transactions could also make everyday crypto payments more accessible to Telegram users.
Validators Approve Gram Wallet Smart Contract
Durov also thanked validators for approving the smart contract powering Gram Wallet. According to his announcement, the design means future wallet upgrades will not require users to go through disruptive fund migrations.
The approach could help Telegram improve the wallet over time while keeping the user experience relatively simple.
The rollout also builds on Telegram’s broader push into crypto and digital assets. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to integrate a native GRAM wallet across its platform and make crypto transactions available to its large user base.
GRAM Price Holds Near $1.38
The latest wallet rollout has placed renewed attention on GRAM as traders assess whether Telegram’s expanding crypto ecosystem can create stronger demand for the token.
With GRAM around $1.38, traders are watching the $1.40 and $1.45 levels for signs of further upside. A sustained move above those levels could improve short‑term momentum, while a decline toward the $1.33 area would put support under pressure.
