After purchasing more over 500,000 SOL in the third quarter of its fiscal 2026, Nasdaq-listed Forward Industries solidified its position as the biggest publicly traded Solana Treasury firm. As of June 30, the company’s total holdings were 7.55 million SOL after spending over $38 million on the purchase at an average price of nearly $79 per token. In early trade, Forward Industries’ shares increased more than 17% as investors applauded the announcement. The most recent acquisition, according to the business, complements its long-term strategy to raise Solana holdings per share while generating value for shareholders thru prudent financial management.
Forward’s Solana treasury is now worth between $576 million and $579 million, depending on market pricing, thanks to the additional tokens. According to the business, it has a significant advantage in this expanding field because its holdings currently exceed the total Solana reserves of the next three biggest publicly traded Solana treasury companies.
Forward used its at-the-market (ATM) program to sell 93,642 ordinary shares in order to fund the most recent acquisition. Simultaneously, it repurchased shares anytime their value fell short of the company’s net asset value. The management feels that by using this flexible money approach, it may increase the value for shareholders while expanding its reserves of digital assets.
Despite shifting market conditions, the company’s objective is straightforward, according to Chief Investment Officer Ryan Navi. According to him, Forward will continue to add more Solana to each share while generating long-term value for investors. Additionally, the corporation intends to buy back shares when they trade at a lower price and issue new shares when market prices exceed the value of its assets.
The inclusion of Forward in the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indices throughout the quarter was another significant accomplishment. The business anticipates that this will increase its visibility to major investors and may provide further opportunities to raise capital for future purchases of Solana.
The news coincided with Solana’s own impressive comeback. After recovering from recent lows, the cryptocurrency increased by almost 5% in the last day. Additionally, trading activity increased, indicating a resurgence of interest from investors.
Over the past year, corporate crypto treasury strategies have grown in popularity. Forward Industries is one of a small but expanding number of enterprises creating substantial Solana treasuries, even though Bitcoin is still the favoured reserve asset for many listed companies. Solana’s approach might strengthen its position in the digital asset market if large investors continue to show interest in the firm.
