Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) CEO Jason Oxman expects more partnerships between traditional payment companies and Bitcoin startups as digital assets become increasingly integrated into the global payments industry.

While emphasizing that the ETA remains technology-neutral, Oxman said the organization is committed to supporting innovation and working with companies developing new forms of electronic payments.

Oxman highlighted the ETA’s partnership with BitPay, the first crypto company to join the association, as an example of how established payment providers are becoming more open to blockchain technology.

He also credited the Bitcoin Foundation for helping educate ETA members about Bitcoin and its potential benefits. According to Oxman, future collaborations between payment firms and crypto startups will largely depend on consumer and merchant demand as digital payment solutions continue evolving.
