According to reports, Blockchain.com is aiming for a US IPO that could earn around $500 million and put the cryptocurrency company’s valuation between $4 and $6 billion. The business is thinking about offering on the US stock market this year, according to a September 29 Bloomberg article, albeit the size, timing, and value might vary based on market circumstances.
In May, Blockchain.com secretly submitted a draft registration statement for a planned Class A share offering to the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The purported IPO terms have not been officially confirmed by the corporation.

An upcoming listing coincides with the return of cryptocurrency businesses to public markets following a time when the industry’s IPO activity was hampered by deteriorating market circumstances.
In May, Blockchain.com announced that company has confidentially submitted draft registration filings to the SEC, marking a significant step toward a public offering. The corporation stated at the time that it had not chosen the price range or the number of shares that would be sold.
As a result, the stated $500 million fundraising goal and $4–$6 billion value are still suggested amounts rather than formal IPO conditions.
Blockchain.com was established in 2011 and first offered tools for monitoring Bitcoin blockchain activity before branching out into cryptocurrency wallets and exchange services. The business claims to have raised $537 million in stock capital.
During the previous cryptocurrency market boom in 2022, the company’s valuation was $14 billion. Later, at a valuation of less than half that amount, it raised $110 million in 2023. Therefore, its suggested market value would be significantly lower than its 2022 valuation if it were to be listed at $4 to $6 billion.
Blockchain.com is also expanding into tokenized traditional assets. On September 23, the company and the New York Stock Exchange announced a memorandum of understanding to explore giving Blockchain.com users access to tokenized US-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds through the NYSE’s planned digital trading venue.
The proposed arrangement is not yet a live trading product and remains subject to regulatory approvals. No launch date has been announced.
The company is entering the public-market process alongside several other crypto firms. Gemini went public on Nasdaq in September 2025, while eToro listed in May 2025. Crypto custodian BitGo also completed its IPO in January 2026.
However, the performance of recent crypto listings shows that market conditions can change quickly. Shares of several recently listed crypto companies have traded well below their post-IPO highs.
For Blockchain.com, the potential IPO would provide a major test of investor demand for established crypto businesses. The company’s proposed valuation, fundraising target, share price and listing date could all change before a final prospectus is released. For now, the offering remains subject to SEC review, market conditions and final decisions by the company.
