Bitget, a crypto exchange, has launched what it says is the first TradFi Quanto Perpetual Futures. This lets users trade certain non-U.S. stocks using USDT as collateral. The launch comes as Bitget reported almost $70 billion in TradFi perpetual trading volume in the second quarter of 2026, showing strong demand for products that mix traditional finance with crypto.
The first contract on the platform is MINIMAXHKDUSDT, which tracks shares of the Hong Kong AI company MiniMax. Traders can use up to 20x leverage, and all margin, funding, and profits or losses are settled in USDT. This means users don’t have to convert their stablecoins to local currencies before trading.
Bitget said the Quanto structure lets traders track foreign stock prices without extra foreign exchange risk. While Quanto contracts have been used in crypto derivatives for years, Bitget believes it is the first major exchange to use this model for traditional financial assets.
Accessing global stocks priced in other currencies shouldn’t mean managing an extra FX trade.
So we’ve launched the industry’s first TradFi Quanto Perpetual on @Bitget, starting with MINIMAXHKDUSDT.

This launch is part of Bitget’s Universal Exchange plan, which aims to offer crypto assets, tokenized stocks, and other financial products on one platform. CEO Gracy Chen said investors want easy access to both crypto and traditional markets without having to use multiple platforms.
TokenInsight’s latest Crypto Exchange Report says TradFi perpetual products were among the fastest-growing segments in the second quarter. Monthly trading volume rose sharply from January to June, mainly because of equity-linked perpetual contracts.
Bitget saw almost $70 billion in TradFi perpetual trading volume during the quarter and was one of the top exchanges for equity and commodity perpetual markets. The report also showed that TradFi products are making up a bigger part of Bitget’s derivatives business, showing more interest in tokenized financial markets.
As exchanges move beyond just cryptocurrencies, products like Quanto perpetual futures could help connect digital asset systems with traditional investment options.
