ARK Invest increased its exposure to SpaceX, tokenization firm Securitize and a Solana staking ETF on August 21, while continuing to reduce positions in companies including Palantir, Roblox and Shopify.
SpaceX was ARK’s biggest purchase of the day, according to the company’s most recent trade disclosures. Four funds, the ARK Innovation ETF, ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF, ARK Next Generation Internet ETF, and ARK Space Exploration & Innovation ETF were used to distribute the investment.

The four funds collectively bought about 205,031 SpaceX shares. The purchases represented roughly similar allocations across the different ETFs and highlighted ARK’s continued interest in the newly public space and technology company led by Elon Musk.
ARK also purchased exposure to Securitize, a company focused on the tokenization of real-world assets and financial products, as well as a Solana staking ETF. The additions are notable because they connect several of ARK’s major investment themes, including blockchain, tokenization, digital assets and emerging technology.
At the same time, ARK continued selling Palantir across several of its funds. The firm also shed its positions in Roblox and Shopify.
ARK Invest, the company led by Cathie Wood, has always focused on disruptive technologies and those companies that operate in the spheres of innovation and intend to change the established system for the better. The latest purchases made by the company confirm its interest in artificial intelligence, blockchains, tokenization, and cutting-edge technologies.
The acquisition of Securitize and the shares of the firm involved in the development of Solana, a blockchain platform, is especially notable as institutional investors are growing more and more interested in tokens issued on this platform.
The decision to buy SpaceX shares allows ARK to expand its presence in the promising industry of space exploration and satellites. Thus, the latest changes to the portfolio confirm the company’s policy of investing in futuristic technologies.
