Blockchain and Tokenization of Real Assets
By Manoj Dharra
Tokenization has emerged as one of the interesting aspects of Web 3 space. It is the process of exchanging sensitive data for nonsensitive data called “tokens” that can be used in a database or internal system without bringing it into scope.
From commodities to intellectual property, to assets, luxury items, even personal collectibles, Tokenization offers immense potential by creating marketable value for randomized data strings that has no essential or exploitable value or meaning.
Web 3 offers a platform for digital assets to generate/enhance/exchange marketable value. Wherever the value proposition is in question, the place turns into a magnet to attract unsolicited trade. This often results in loss of value.
To know the pros & cons of Tokenization, we have invited leading experts from the industry. We were joined by Harman Puri, Top 50 Blockchain Influencers of India.
