WazirX will carry out scheduled maintenance on its futures trading platform on July 11, which means several futures services will be paused during that time. Maintenance starts at 21:30 UTC, and users won’t be able to place new futures orders, close positions, change margin settings, or cancel pending orders while the upgrade is happening. The exchange recommends that traders plan ahead to avoid any issues.

The maintenance affects only WazirX’s futures trading services and is part of the exchange’s routine efforts to maintain platform performance and reliability. Although the company has not disclosed how long the maintenance will last, users are expected to regain access once the scheduled work is completed.

Futures traders should know they won’t be able to manage open positions during maintenance. Since placing orders, closing positions, adjusting margins, and cancelling orders will all be unavailable, users may want to review their portfolios and take any needed steps before maintenance starts.

One of the most well-known cryptocurrency exchanges in India, WazirX allows users to trade more than 80 digital assets, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash. Users may purchase and sell digital assets in real time thanks to the platform’s live order book.

The exchange also lets users deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies and convert Indian rupees to USDT and back using its Peer-to-Peer (P2P) platform. This P2P system is now a main way for INR transactions on WazirX, helping users move funds efficiently even with recent banking restrictions in India’s crypto industry.

In addition to trading, WazirX provides an integrated wallet for secure digital asset storage. Its native coin, WRX, is essential to the platform and offers benefits including lower trading costs and compatibility for several ecosystem features.

In order to preserve system stability, improve security, and be ready for updates, major cryptocurrency exchanges frequently do periodic maintenance. For information on when maintenance will be completed and futures trading will restart, WazirX advises users to review its official releases.
