UAE Government Unveils White Paper On Metaverse
The government of the United Arab Emirates recently announced the release of a white paper that highlights the potential of the metaverse as well as areas “where the global community must strengthen its preparedness.”
The UAE government has released a white paper called the “Responsible Metaverse Self-Governance Framework,” emphasizing the need for globally accepted operating standards.
The paper, produced in collaboration with Okx, highlights the potential of the metaverse and areas where the global community must strengthen preparedness. However, Al Olama warns that further dialogue is needed to establish regulations or a global code of conduct for operating within this emerging ecosystem.
