Trump Sells $2.5 Mn ETH After Mugshot NFT Sales Fail

Donald Trump has announced a follow-up to his first two non-fungible token (NFT) collections, with the 45th President selling off 1,075 Ether (ETH) worth around $2.5 million to Coinbase in the last three weeks. Trump still owns 589 ETH, 273 WETH, 4.582K Polygon, 6.9 million Pepe (PEPE), and 795.5 million JESUS coins, among other lesser-known memecoins on both Ethereum and Polygon chains.

The third largest asset is the self-titled TRUMP coin, with 579.281K tokens. The former president is featured in various stock backgrounds in Trump’s latest Mugshot NFT collection, including the suit he wore four months ago when questioned in his election interference case. While the first two Trump Cards NFT collections sold for ten times the original price of $99, Mugshot has not picked up on the hype, with less than 50% of NFTs minted.
