Strive has bought 1,110 Bitcoin for about $81.5 million, taking its total holdings above 21,000 BTC as its ASST shares continued to climb. According to a statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the corporation spent an average of $73,409 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenditures, for acquisitions made between August 17 and August 21.

According to statistics from BitcoinTreasuries, the most recent acquisition increased Strive’s Bitcoin holdings to 21,356 BTC, making it the seventh-largest publicly listed corporate Bitcoin holder. ASST shares closed at $19.39 on August 24, up 6.42% on the day.

The latest Bitcoin purchase represents an increase of about 5.5% from Strive’s previous holdings of 20,246 BTC. Bitcoin was trading near $79,000 on Monday, meaning the cryptocurrency was about 8% above the average price Strive paid for its latest batch of coins.

ASST has also enjoyed a sharp run in recent sessions. On August 24, the stock began at $18.76, had an intraday high of $19.49, and ended the day at $19.39. ASST increased from $12.32 at the conclusion of the previous week to $19.39 by August 24, following many strong sessions for the shares.

The strong share-price performance came as investors digested Strive’s latest Bitcoin purchase and its growing position in the corporate Bitcoin market. The company now ranks behind Bullish and ahead of SpaceX among publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders, according to Bitcoin Treasuries data.

Strive CEO Matt Cole has been increasingly vocal about the company’s Bitcoin strategy. In a post ahead of the market open, he said the opportunity was not simply about Bitcoin rising in price. Instead, he sees Bitcoin as part of a broader scarcity trade, with Strive’s structure designed to increase its exposure to that trend.

Strive’s cash position also improved during the period. Its cash and cash equivalents rose by $17.1 million to $171.9 million as of August 21. At the same time, the number of Class A shares outstanding increased by 3.65 million to 79.89 million.

The company is not solely focused on Bitcoin. Strive also operates an asset management business that oversees nearly $3 billion through exchange-traded funds and a direct-indexing platform. As of August 21, it also held 505,000 shares of Strategy’s STRC preferred stock, valued at about $48.6 million.

Another part of Strive’s strategy is SATA, its variable-rate perpetual preferred stock. SATA closed at $100.01 on August 21, returning to the $99-$101 range targeted by management. Strive launched the security in November 2025, initially selling 2 million shares at $80 each for $160 million in gross proceeds.

Unlike Strive’s common stock, SATA is designed as an income product. Its variable dividend rate is intended to help keep the shares trading close to $100. Strive raised the annualised dividend rate to 13% in April and switched from monthly to daily dividend payments beginning June 16.

SATA is similar to STRC, the variable-rate perpetual preferred stock issued by Strategy, the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder. However, the two companies are taking different approaches to their Bitcoin strategies. While Strive continues to add to its Bitcoin treasury, Strategy reported no Bitcoin purchases for the week ended August 23.

With 21,356 BTC now in its treasury, Strive has firmly established itself among the largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders. The latest purchase also shows that the company is continuing to put significant capital behind its Bitcoin strategy, even as its stock price has risen sharply in recent trading.
