Bitcoin treasury firm Strive has added another 1,375 BTC as it continues to expand its holdings and move closer to the other major corporate Bitcoin treasuries. The company bought the Bitcoin at an average price of about $79,281 per BTC, taking its total holdings to 24,531 BTC. At the same time, Strive’s preferred security, SATA, has reached nearly $1 billion in notional outstanding. The company said SATA accounted for 70% of the capital it raised last week, highlighting the growing role of the preferred stock in funding its Bitcoin purchases.
The latest acquisition follows Strive’s purchase of 1,800 BTC two weeks earlier, which helped the company become the fifth-largest corporate Bitcoin treasury. It now sits behind Strategy, Twenty One Capital, Metaplanet and MARA Holdings in terms of Bitcoin holdings.

Strive CEO Matt Cole has previously said the company aims to acquire more than 20,000 BTC before the end of the year. The longer-term ambition could put Strive in a position to challenge other major corporate Bitcoin holders, although Strategy remains far ahead with 845,050 BTC.
The company is increasingly relying on SATA to raise the money needed for its Bitcoin strategy. Cole said 70% of the capital raised by Strive last week came through the preferred security. SATA now has $999 million in notional outstanding, putting it just short of the $1 billion milestone.
SATA is currently trading around its $100 par value. This is important for Strive because maintaining the preferred stock near par makes it easier for the company to raise additional capital to fund Bitcoin purchases.

Strive’s common stock, ASST, has also performed strongly in recent weeks. The shares have gained more than 100% over the past month and recently reached a year-to-date high above $27. The stock nevertheless came under pressure as Bitcoin pulled back from its recent high above $82,000.
The latest Bitcoin purchase shows that Strive is continuing to use a combination of preferred-stock financing and its common equity market to build its crypto treasury. With SATA approaching $1 billion in outstanding value and Bitcoin holdings continuing to grow, the company is becoming an increasingly visible player in the corporate Bitcoin treasury race.
