Soundscape Set To Unveil VR Music Platform
Soundscape, a pioneering musical metaverse for VR and PC, will unveil its latest version at the Consumer Electronics Show 2024 (CES).
Launched in 2017, Soundscape VR offers an imaginative and interactive listening environment replicating the atmosphere of a music festival.
Users can explore virtual worlds independently or online, using personalized avatars to enjoy music. The platform is built on the Unreal Engine 5, delivering upgraded graphics and play mechanics.
This is the first major VR experience developed natively on the engine, introducing enhancements like Soundskin avatar creation capabilities and the v4 release of the company’s audiovisual engine.
Soundscape has formed partnerships with renowned artists, including GRiZ, Slash, Evanescence, and Goose, who have created virtual performances accessible on both PC and VR platforms.
