  • Through GSmart, Ripple is incorporating AI agents into its corporate treasury platform.
  • Ripple Treasury builds upon the GTreasury technology, which Ripple purchased for roughly $1 billion.
  • Ask GSmart enables finance teams to use AI to query company financial data.
  • According to Ripple, 44% of qualified clients utilize Forecast Insights, while 60% use Risk Insights.

GSmart tools can monitor liquidity, risk and forecasts, recommend financial actions and explain the reasoning, while human teams retain final approval.

Ripple is bringing AI agents deeper into corporate treasury management as it expands the technology behind the $1 billion acquisition that helped it enter the market last year.

Within Ripple Treasury, the GTreasury platform that Ripple bought in October, the company has added more GSmart features. The software is designed to help financial teams watch cash, liquidity, risk and predictions while spotting problems and offering solutions.

Ripple Expands AI Across Treasury Operations

According to Ripple, GSmart can monitor treasury processes, flag problems, suggest actions and point users to the company policies supporting those recommendations.

The system is designed with a clear human approval layer. AI agents can spot chances to make moves or suggest steps, but they can’t carry out those actions without a human user giving permission.

This difference matters a lot for finance teams that manage big amounts of cash and deal with complicated treasury tasks. Ripple says that traditional software still does the financial calculations while AI works on understanding policies, spotting trends and explaining why certain recommendations are made.

GSmart was initially launched in June 2025, before Ripple acquired GTreasury. The latest rollout expands the technology across more areas of the corporate treasury workflow.

Knowledge Studio & Ask GSmart

The expanded platform also introduces Knowledge Studio, a policy-focused layer designed to give AI agents access to an organization’s internal treasury rules and procedures.

Ripple is also adding Ask GSmart, an AI assistant that allows finance teams to query corporate financial data and receive answers based on information available within the treasury platform.

The goal is to make treasury information easier to access without removing financial controls. Instead of relying entirely on manual analysis, finance teams can use AI to surface relevant information and recommendations before deciding what action to take.

Ripple said adoption of its existing AI-powered tools is already significant among eligible customers. Around 60% have enabled Risk Insights, while 44% use Forecast Insights.

Digital Assets Enter Corporate Treasury

The AI rollout also builds on Ripple’s broader strategy for Ripple Treasury following its GTreasury acquisition.

Earlier this year, the company began integrating digital assets into its treasury software, giving corporate finance teams the ability to manage digital assets alongside traditional cash and other financial positions.

That approach could become increasingly relevant as companies explore stablecoins and other digital assets for payments, liquidity management and cross-border transactions.

With AI agents now being added to the same infrastructure, Ripple is positioning its treasury platform as a system that can monitor both traditional and digital assets while helping finance teams make faster, more informed decisions.
