Wall Street behemoth Morgan Stanley revealed its XRP holdings thru ETFs, which is significant XRP news today. The Wall Street behemoth also expanded its stake in Armada Acquisition Corp II, the SPAC partner of Evernorth Holdings, which is supported by Ripple.

In a 13F filing for Q2 2026 with the US SEC, Morgan Stanley, one of the biggest investment banks in the world with a portfolio worth over $1.9 trillion, disclosed their exposure to XRP thru three ETFs.

The addition of XRP-related holdings indicates increasing institutional interest in cryptocurrency assets, even tho the bank mostly concentrates on big stocks and Bitcoin ETF investments.

Morgan Stanley revealed 6,715 holdings in the Franklin XRP ETF, per the filing. Additionally, the investment bank disclosed modest holdings of 67 shares in the Bitwise XRP ETF and 255 shares in the REX-Osprey XRP ETF.

Morgan Stanley held exposure to Volatility Shares XRP ETF and Grayscale XRP ETF (GXRP) in Q1 2026, as CoinGape previously revealed. Following Morgan Stanley’s announcement of Ethereum and Solana ETFs, there was conjecture about a possible XRP ETF.

This is a significant milestone even tho the position is quite small in comparison to its enormous investments in cryptocurrency companies, Bitcoin, and Ethereum ETFs. This occurs when Morgan Stanley delves farther into the cryptocurrency space.

Furthermore, 50,540 shares of Evernorth Holdings’ SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp II, which is backed by Ripple, were revealed by Morgan Stanley. This occurs one day after JPMorgan Chase disclosed its interests in Evernorth interests’ SPAC, Grayscale XRP ETF, and Bitwise XRP ETF.

Institutions are still interested in the US-listed spot XRP ETFs. While Bitcoin ETFs continue to suffer redemptions, spot XRP ETFs witnessed $2.25 million in inflows on Thursday. The only ETF seeing inflows was the Bitwise XRP ETF.

XRP ETFs have had total inflows of $1.51 million since debut, according to SoSoValue statistics. But after previously exceeding $1.25 billion, total assets under management (AUM) fell to $942.25 million. Despite institutional interest in XRP, such as that of Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan, the decline occurred.

The price of XRP has been fluctuating around $1.01 throughout the last day. The 24-hour high was $1.01, and the low was $0.998. But throughout the past 24 hours, trade volume has further dropped by 22%.

The number of whale wallets with more over a million XRP coins has grown, but the price prognosis for XRP indicated that it may go below $1. To refute the bearish argument, it must close above the resistance at the top trendline.

Coinglass data reveals conflicting emotions, with open interest in XRP futures falling 1.23% to $2.69 billion. On CME, however, futures open interest is sharply increasing, up 1.84% in only one hour.

As Wall Street giants secure their crypto positions, the demand for secure infrastructure grows, making the choice of qualified institutional crypto custody solutions a top priority for protecting large-scale digital asset holdings.
