Metamask Launches Ethereum Validator Staking Services
Metamask, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) wallet, has launched its validator staking services for Ethereum. This feature allows users with 32 ETH to stake them directly from the Metamask portfolio interface without managing hardware equipment.
Consensys Staking runs the service backend and manages over 4% of the total ETH staked. Metamask reports that Consensys, operating over 33,000 validators with 99.99% uptime, has not incurred any penalties, including being slashed, for registering “dishonest behaviors” by the network.
