Kalshi’s election and political market data is now available through DoubleZero Edge, giving institutional and automated traders access to real-time order-book information ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections. The new feed includes trades, best bids and offers and aggregated market depth, allowing traders to see not only headline election probabilities but also the liquidity and trading activity behind those numbers.
The integration connects Kalshi’s prediction-market data with DoubleZero’s low-latency network, which uses dedicated fibre infrastructure to distribute data quickly. The aim is to help professional traders, automated systems and AI applications respond faster when political developments cause market expectations to change.

This could make prediction markets more useful as a real-time information source. A headline probability may show which candidate or party is currently favoured, but a full order book provides a deeper picture of how traders are positioning themselves. It can also show how quickly market participants react when debates, court decisions or breaking political news change expectations.
DoubleZero is a global fibre network designed for high-performance distributed systems. Its infrastructure is coordinated through a blockchain-based protocol and is intended for applications where speed and low latency are important. Kalshi, meanwhile, is a federally regulated prediction-market exchange offering contracts linked to political, economic and other events.
The timing is significant because the November 3 midterm elections will determine control of Congress for the final two years of President Donald Trump’s current term. All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 33 Senate seats are being contested.
The result could have a major impact on the direction of US policy. A Republican-controlled Congress could make it easier for the Trump administration to advance its legislative agenda, while a Democratic-controlled Congress could increase scrutiny of the administration and make new legislation more difficult.
Trading activity around the midterms has already grown sharply. According to figures cited by Reuters from the Anti-Corruption Data Collective, more than $133 million had been wagered on 2026 House and Senate races across Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US by August 10. That was already above the $92.4 million traded during the entire 2024 congressional election cycle.
The new DoubleZero feed is therefore arriving as political prediction markets become a larger source of market information. Faster access could be particularly useful for firms using automated trading strategies, where even small delays can affect decisions.
DoubleZero’s role is limited to distributing the data. It does not operate Kalshi’s market or execute trades. The integration essentially creates a faster route through which market information can reach professional users.
For the crypto and blockchain industry, the development is another example of blockchain-related infrastructure moving beyond traditional cryptocurrency trading. Prediction markets are increasingly being connected to financial data systems, automated trading tools and other real-time applications.
