IIT Kharagpur Launches Certification Course On AI With TCS iON

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has launched the Hands-on AI for real-world applications (HAAI) program to celebrate the third anniversary of National Educational Policy 2020. The certification program aims to democratize AI education for skill development of youth and professionals, with a goal of educating 1 lakh people as part of nation building. The course combines theoretical foundations and hands-on practical learning.

The AI certification course, launched by IIT Kharagpur director VK Tewari, will commence on September 2 and end on December 2, with a course fee of Rs 4,998. The course is open to freshers, students, working professionals, and individuals with basic programming knowledge. Eligibility criteria include undergraduate or postgraduate students, AI/ML engineers, and IT professionals. Interested candidates can submit their application form at ai4icps.in or TCS iON website.
