Hashdex Submits Revised BTC Spot ETF Filing To SEC
Crypto asset management company Hashdex has submitted a revised version of its Spot Bitcoin ETF proposal, as the company prepares for the US SEC’s final decision on Spot Bitcoin ETF applications in January 2024. The revised proposal combines Spot Bitcoin with its Bitcoin Futures ETF, altering the ticker to a Hashdex Bitcoin ETF.
The merger will involve organizational and administrative changes, including a shift in the trust entity responsible for issuing the Bitcoin ETF and a change in the ETF sponsor. Hashdex has stated its intention to uphold its initial investment strategies and objectives, and the proposed rule change is intended to not negatively affect investors’ protection or impose a burden on competitors.
