Google’s AI Chatbot, Bard,Expands To Europe, Brazil
Alphabet announced on Thursday that its artificial-intelligence chatbot, Bard, will be available in Europe and Brazil, marking the product’s largest growth since its February introduction and pitting it against Microsoft-backed competition ChatGPT.
Bard and ChatGPT are AI-powered human-sounding programs that use generative AI to engage with users and answer prompts. Companies are investing billions in AI to boost advertising and cloud revenue. Elon Musk launched xAI, a startup with former Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI engineers.
Google has expanded Bard’s global features, allowing users to collaborate in over 40 languages, including Arabic, Chinese, German, Hindi, and Spanish. Users can now customize Bard’s tone and style, pin or rename conversations, export code, and use images in prompts.
