Gala Games In Legal Battle Over Misuse Of Crypto Funds

The CEO and co-founder of the blockchain-based gaming platform Gala Games are embroiled in a legal dispute.

Wright Thurston and Eric Schiermeyer have both filed lawsuits against one another, with Schiermeyer accusing Thurston of obtaining and selling GALA tokens worth $130 million illegally.

Schiermeyer was charged by Thurston with misusing company resources and engaging in dishonest behaviour that hurt the platform.

In response, Gala Games issued a statement affirming its dedication to safeguarding customers’ and team members’ safety and reiterating that the expansion and success of the business remained a top priority.
