Doppler Finance’s XRP Vault has crossed 90 million XRP in deposits, worth more than $125 million at current prices. The platform announced the milestone on October 11, 2026. Its XRP and RLUSD vaults have together attracted more than $150 million from over 14,000 depositors. The growth reflects that more XRP holders are seeking avenues to earn returns on their crypto holdings rather than simply keeping them in their wallets. Doppler provides a means to earn from XRP which does not have its own native staking system.

Doppler Finance, formerly known as Lotus Protocol, launched in February 2025 and utilises a model combining centralized financial services with decentralized finance, CeDeFi. It employs institutional custody providers like Fireblocks and Ceffu to help manage assets.
The XRP Vault utilises trading strategies such as arbitrage and trades that aim to benefit from price discrepancies between spot and futures markets to earn returns while minimizing exposure to overall market movements. Doppler currently reports an annual percentage rate (APR) of around 3% for its XRP Vault but returns are not guaranteed and investors may face risks.
Interest in earning returns from XRP is also growing amongst larger investors. In September 2025, VivoPower committed $30 million to the Doppler XRP Vault as the first part of a planned $200 million XRP treasury yield programme. Ripple-backed Evernorth has also brought a large XRP holding to Nasdaq following a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).
Meanwhile, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) is developing new features to support lending and other decentralized finance activities. Proposals known as XLS-65 and XLS-66 are undergoing validator voting to introduce single-asset vaults and a lending protocol on the network.
Doppler has signalled its intention to launch a lending product on the XRP Ledger in the fourth quarter of 2026 if and when XLS-66 is approved and activated. Clearpool is also expanding its lending activities on the network which should help create a larger market for institutional borrowing and lending.
Another upgrade, the Batch Amendment, allows for multiple transactions to be settled together in a single ledger close, which should make certain trading activities more efficient.
The rise of Doppler’s vaults reflects that XRP holders are becoming more interested in earning returns from their assets. However, investors should remember that yield products come with risks including trading losses, custody issues and changes in market conditions. A higher deposit value does not necessarily suggest that a given platform or its returns are risk-free.
