The first UCITS Bitcoin Mining ETF has been introduced in Europe by digital asset investment company CoinShares. This allows investors to make regulated investments in publicly traded Bitcoin mining firms. With the ticker MINE, the fund is now trading on Deutsche Börse Xetra, expanding Europe’s choices for cryptocurrency investments.
The Solactive AG-managed CoinShares Bitcoin Mining Index is the basis for the CoinShares Bitcoin Mining UCITS ETF. The ETF invests in businesses that mine Bitcoin instead than purchasing Bitcoin directly. This enables investors to use a conventional investment product to profit from the performance of the industry.

Under the UCITS framework, a well-known European standard for investment funds, the fund is physically replicated and headquartered in Ireland. Both big institutions and private investors find UCITS funds appealing since they can be marketed in many European nations.
According to CoinShares, the ETF will modify its holdings each quarter so that it can be aligned with the index having a total expense ratio of 0.65%.
