  • 32 House members are endorsed by Stand With Crypto in advance of the 2026 U.S. midterm elections.
  • The Coinbase-backed organization backs legislators who have previously pushed for the CLARITY Act.
  • Disagreements regarding cryptocurrency legislation have caused the U.S. Senate to block the CLARITY Act.

Stand With Crypto is a crypto advocacy group that has the backing of Coinbase. This crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto has decided to support 32 U.S. House lawmakers who want to win their seats again in the November 2026 midterm elections.

These bipartisan endorsements are for lawmakers who helped move the Digital Asset Market Clarity (CLARITY) Act forward in the past. The crypto industry is working hard now because the crypto industry wants much clearer federal rules for digital assets.

Stand With Crypto Backs Bipartisan Lawmakers

The latest list includes prominent Republicans such as House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, Bill Huizenga, Glenn “GT” Thompson, Bryan Steil, Juan Ciscomani and Brian Fitzpatrick. Democratic lawmakers including Ritchie Torres, Josh Gottheimer, Jim Costa and Steven Horsford are also among those receiving endorsements.

Stand With Crypto said it now has more than 3 million registered U.S. crypto advocates. Executive Director Mason Lynaugh said the organization is shifting from proving the existence of crypto voters to demonstrating their ability to influence elections.

The endorsements come as the CLARITY Act remains stalled in the Senate. The legislation is aimed at establishing a regulatory framework for digital assets.

The legislation also clarifies the roles of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The House advanced the bill. Disagreements among senators over key provisions have delayed further progress.

Crypto Industry Increases Election Spending

The organization is also backing lawmakers who have played direct roles in crypto legislation. These include Horsford, who introduced the bipartisan PARITY Act, Davidson, who introduced the Bitcoin for America Act, and Torres, a longtime crypto advocate who has worked with Emmer on digital asset legislation.

Stand With Crypto previously endorsed six congressional candidates in March and plans to announce its Senate endorsements and support for non-incumbent candidates closer to the general election.

Meanwhile, crypto-focused political spending continues to grow. Industry-backed political groups have committed nearly $200 million toward the 2026 election cycle, with Fairshake and its affiliates playing a major role. Fairshake reportedly has about $122 million available for the run-up to November and has already supported advertising for dozens of successful primary candidates.
