- By January 12, 2027, Circle will stop supporting USDC on Noble.
- On October 13, 2026, the minting of new USDC on Noble will cease.
- On October 31, CCTP V1 burn limitations will start to decline.
- Noble will not receive CCTP V2 support from Circle.
- Before the January deadline, USDC holders should transfer money from Noble.
Circle will stop new USDC minting on Noble in October before fully ending CCTP V1 support in January, giving users and developers time to move funds and update integrations.
Circle is winding down support for USDC and the legacy version of its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP V1) on the Noble blockchain, with the transition taking place over the next several months.
We are discontinuing support for USDC and CCTP V1 on the Noble blockchain as part of our broader transition to CCTP V2, a next-generation cross-chain protocol with faster finality and stronger security.
Noble will not receive CCTP V2.
New minting of USDC on Noble via Circle Mint stops October 13; the Noble USDC contract pauses January 12, 2027.
All USDC on Noble remains redeemable 1:1.

In an announcement published September 10, Circle said Noble will not receive CCTP V2 support as the company shifts its cross-chain infrastructure toward the newer protocol.
New USDC Minting Ends In October
Circle Mint customers will be able to mint USDC to Noble through October 12. Starting October 13, new USDC minting on Noble will stop.
Redemptions will remain available until January 12, 2027. However, CCTP V1 burn limits will begin declining from October 31 and will eventually reach zero.
USDC holders will still be able to transfer their funds within Noble during the transition period.
Users Should Move Noble USDC
Circle is encouraging institutional and self-custody users to move their Noble-based USDC before the final shutdown.
Available exit options include centralized exchanges supporting Noble USDC deposits, decentralized exchanges on Noble and CCTP V1 transfers to supported networks.
Circle plans to publish a list of known exit venues but said it will not provide its own exit interface.
CCTP V1 exits could become more limited after December 1 as more destination networks end support for the legacy protocol.
Manual Redemption Starts In January
Any USDC left on Noble after January 12 will enter Circle’s manual redemption process for eligible holders.
Circle plans to take a snapshot of Noble USDC balances on January 12 and begin manual redemptions on January 13. Users must meet Circle’s compliance and security requirements, control the wallet holding the USDC and have the wallet address included in the snapshot.
Developers Must Update CCTP Integrations
The shutdown also affects developers using Noble as a CCTP V1 route.
Applications relying on Noble-based CCTP transfers will need to remove the network from their integrations before the January deadline. Transfers involving Noble will stop once Circle pauses the relevant routes.
Because Noble will not receive CCTP V2 support, developers cannot simply upgrade existing Noble integrations and will instead need to adopt other supported networks.
Circle Continues Expanding Cross-chain Support
The Noble decision comes as Circle expands its broader cross-chain infrastructure.
In September, Circle extended CCTP to support native EURC transfers across supported networks. In June, the company also expanded its presence on Cronos with native USDC, EURC and CCTP support.
Circle said the Noble change does not signal a withdrawal from the wider Cosmos ecosystem, pointing to continued connections with networks including Injective and other IBC-connected chains.
