Cardano, Polkadot Announce Partnership

Cardano and Polkadot have partnered to enhance blockchain interoperability and scalability. The partnership will integrate Cardano’s “partner chain” project with Polkadot’s modular framework, Substrate, which forms the foundation of the Polkadot SDK.

Cardano’s architectural design, which divides the Cardano Settlement Layer (CSL) and Cardano Computation Layer (CCL), is robust and scalable, allowing for seamless settlement across chains.

The introduction of partner chains will enable networks to construct computation layers using a modular framework and existing components, while still leveraging the CSL for seamless settlement.

The modular approach will also allow partner chains to implement any consensus protocol, promoting adaptability and innovation within the ecosystem.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in blockchain technology evolution, paving the way for a more interconnected and scalable blockchain world.
