On September 22, Binance will temporarily stop accepting deposits and withdrawals from its platform while it performs planned maintenance on its wallet infrastructure.
A Binance notice states that the maintenance will start at 06:00 UTC and should take about three hours. The exchange said the services could resume earlier if the upgrade is completed and the systems stabilize ahead of schedule.
During the maintenance window, users will still be able to trade their assets on Binance. Until the exchange verifies that its wallet systems are functioning regularly, deposits and withdrawals will remain momentarily inaccessible.
Binance will undergo a system upgrade on September 22, 2026, from 06:00 to 09:00 UTC (estimated duration: 3 hours).
Your funds remain safe, and core services such as Spot and Futures trading will not be affected.

Binance Schedules Wallet Infrastructure Upgrade
According to Binance, the upcoming update is meant to fortify its wallet infrastructure and increase consumers’ overall service experience.
The exchange will restore deposit and withdrawal services after confirming that the upgraded systems are stable. Binance also noted that it will not publish a separate announcement when deposits and withdrawals become available again.
Users who need to move crypto assets around the scheduled maintenance period may therefore want to complete their transfers beforehand. Deposits initiated before the temporary suspension may also take additional time to process, depending on when the transaction reaches Binance’s wallet systems.
The scheduled maintenance affects transfers rather than trading activity, meaning users can continue buying, selling and managing their positions during the upgrade.
Binance Announces More Trading Pair Changes
The wallet maintenance comes as Binance prepares several other changes to selected trading pairs in September.
On September 18 at 03:00 UTC, Binance plans to remove the BREV/USDC, COOKIE/USDC, LA/USDC and QNT/USDC spot trading pairs.
The exchange will also remove five margin trading pairs later that day, ENJ/USDC, GENIUS/USDC, CVX/USDC, GUN/USDC and VANA/USDC.
Binance has also announced plans to end all spot trading pairs for Pax Dollar (USDP) on September 24.
