CoinShares, a digital asset investment firm, has launched its first UCITS Bitcoin Mining ETF in Europe. This gives investors a regulated way to invest in public Bitcoin mining companies. The fund is now trading on Deutsche Börse Xetra with the ticker MINE, bringing more crypto investment options to Europe.
The CoinShares Bitcoin Mining UCITS ETF follows the CoinShares Bitcoin Mining Index, which is managed by Solactive AG. Rather than buying Bitcoin directly, the ETF invests in companies that mine Bitcoin. This lets investors benefit from the industry’s performance using a traditional investment product.
Bitcoin exposure does not always require holding @Bitcoin.

The fund is physically replicated and based in Ireland under the UCITS framework, a well-known European standard for investment funds. UCITS funds can be sold in many European countries, making them appealing to both large institutions and individual investors.
CoinShares said the ETF has a total expense ratio of 0.65% and will adjust its holdings every quarter to match the index. Exchange data shows the ETF began trading at about 19.50 euros per share.
This launch adds to CoinShares’ lineup of crypto investment products. The company already offers the CoinShares Bitcoin Mining ETF (WGMI) in the U.S., which manages over $340 million in assets.
Bitcoin mining companies are getting more attention from investors as Bitcoin becomes more popular and miners move into areas like AI infrastructure and high-performance computing. However, mining stocks are often more volatile than Bitcoin because their profits depend on crypto prices, mining difficulty, and energy costs.
By launching MINE, CoinShares offers European investors a regulated way to invest in Bitcoin mining without having to buy cryptocurrencies or individual mining stocks.
