BitMine Immersion has grown its Ethereum holdings to 5.77 million ETH, now controlling nearly 4.8% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. This move strengthens BitMine’s status as one of the largest corporate Ether holders.
The company shared that almost five million ETH are staked, earning rewards and maintaining long-term exposure to Ethereum. Chairman Tom Lee said that increased activity on Ethereum’s Layer-2 networks is a key factor in the company’s investment approach.
In addition to Ether, BitMine holds 206 Bitcoin, has invested $180 million in Beast Industries, owns a $69 million stake in Eightco Holdings, and keeps about $482 million in cash and marketable securities.
Lee thinks Ethereum’s ecosystem is starting a new growth phase, fuelled by more real-world use instead of just speculation. He pointed to the successful launch of the Robinhood Chain Layer-2 network, which uses Arbitrum technology, as proof of Ethereum’s growing usefulness.

Lee said Robinhood Chain has processed over $1 billion in trading volume since launching on July 1 and now sees more trading activity than any decentralized exchange. He believes this shows a strong product-market fit for Ethereum, which acts as the main settlement layer.
Layer-2 networks handle transactions off Ethereum’s main blockchain and then settle them back on-chain. This method cuts transaction costs and speeds up processing, while still depending on Ethereum’s security.
Corporate interest in Ethereum has risen this year, as more institutions see Ether as both a digital asset and as the backbone for decentralized finance, tokenization, and blockchain-based financial services.
By staking most of its Ether, BitMine earns regular income and still benefits if prices rise. This mix of treasury management and staking rewards sets Ethereum apart from other digital assets that often just sit unused on company balance sheets.
As more institutions adopt Ethereum, BitMine’s larger Ethereum treasury shows growing confidence that Ethereum will stay at the centre of blockchain innovation in the future.
