Dog-Themed Meme Coin BONK Jumps
The top meme coin on the Solana network, Bonk Inu (BONK), is generating headlines as it pumps quite well. According to statistics from CoinGecko as of this writing, the price of BONK has increased by more than 125% over the past week. Additionally, data indicates that BONK has increased by approximately 2,000% over the past month and by more than 433% during the last 14 days.
Launched in December, BONK was designed as a version of other meme coins like Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin (DOGE), which were affected by the collapse of FTX, which had some ties to Solana. The price surge is a significant development in the Solana ecosystem.
