FinMin Bring Digital Transformation Using AI
The UAE’s Ministry of Finance showcased its digital transformation and artificial intelligence leadership at GITEX Technology Week 2023. The ministry provided metaverse solutions for government entities and facilitated client journeys towards a more inclusive future. The ministry also showcased its digital systems, projects, and innovative financial initiatives. Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, emphasized the ministry’s commitment to advanced financial solutions.
The Ministry of Finance showcased various systems, projects, artificial intelligence initiatives, digital services, and the ChatGPT platform during a panel session titled ‘Ministry of Finance Initiatives in the Field of Artificial Intelligence’. The Ministry of Finance Metaverse, a digital procurement platform, was introduced, allowing the public to explore products and services, improving communication with government clients. The Federal Asset Tracking System, launched to accurately enumerate and record federal government assets in financial statements, was reviewed using Metaverse technology. Implemented at the federal government level in 24 entities, including the Ministry of Finance, the system automates asset management processes from registration to inventory.
