16 New Bitcoin Addresses Added In A Single Day
Bitcoin’s whale addresses have seen a significant increase, with 16 new addresses added within a 24-hour period, according to Santiment. This surge corresponds to Bitcoin’s ongoing attempt to break through the critical $27,000 resistance level.
According to Santiment’s data, this surge in whale addresses, specifically those holding 100 to 1,000 BTC, represents the most significant one-day increase since February 28, 2022. With these new additions, the total number of addresses in this cohort now stands at 13,967.
It is worth noting, however, that this growth is partly due to smaller wallets progressing to the next tier. As of this month,140,210 addresses contain between 10 and 100 BTC.
