But before we begin our show let me share with you my fantastic experience of covering Crypto Expo Dubai 2023 over the fag end of the last week. The mega events was attended by thousands of market participants from all over the world, everyone holding a torch for the web3 ecosystem. In the Crypto Expo I interacted with number of market participants about the future and use cases of metaverse. So let’s hear what they had to say about the prospects of Metaverse.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on Thursday launched a MovingMemory app that uses the technology of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) simultaneously and captures various moving models of memory through digital reconstruction.
MovingMemory can be accessed either through mobile apps (Android and iOS) or through browser-based platforms, making it uniquely inclusive in quality. It is a spatial app, developed with the potential to inhabit the metaverse world.
Colgate-Palmolive India, the country’s leading oral care brand, once again paved the way in oral care innovation by conducting the first ever metaverse masterclass for dental students. Students from selected dental schools were mentored by renowned dentist, Dr. Sandesh Mayekar and Dr. Svapna Koppikar, Director, Professional Oral Care at Colgate-Palmolive, APAC, on ‘Setting up a dental clinic’.
This virtual reality experience created by Baker-E, an experiential design company, showcased the intricate process of building a successful dental clinic with invaluable real world insights. As the Metaverse gains momentum in various sectors, Colgate-Palmolive strongly contributes to dental education by driving innovation.

British pop singer and former Take That member Robbie Williams is set to make his metaverse debut. Williams’ first foray into the Web3 space is a partnership with AI-powered lifestyle metaverse platform, LightCycle, a virtual city with elements of art, film, gaming, music, fashion, sport, property and retail. A personal performance of Williams’ 25-year anniversary live show, designed as a 3D metaverse experience, will take place in the virtual city. LightCycle is due to launch in the fourth quarter of 2023.
