Aptos Blockchain to Unlock 24.8 mn APT Tokens
Token Unlocks, a cryptocurrency tokenomics platform, announced an upcoming Aptos token unlock on November 12, 2023. The event will introduce $143 million worth of APT, accounting for 10.89% of the circulating supply. The event will benefit investors, the Aptos Foundation, core contributors, and the Aptos community. Token Unlocks shared a schedule for token allocation to various stakeholders.
Aptos investors receive 8 million APT, while the blockchain network’s foundation receives 1.3 million APT. Core contributors receive 11 million APT, and the Aptos community receives 3 million APT. On November 12, 24 million APT will be allocated. The Token Unlock dashboard shows that 175.43 million APT have been unlocked, representing 17.54% of the total APT tokens. The remaining 824.57 million APT will be released through a predetermined process, like the one scheduled for November 12.
