Alibaba’s AI Model To Hold Visual Localization Capabilities
As rivalry to release more advanced AI tools heats up, Chinese tech giant Alibaba (BABA) on Friday unveiled two artificial intelligence (AI) models with visual localization capabilities that it claims are capable of interpreting images and having more complex conversations.1
Alibaba introduced Qwen-VL and Qwen-VL-Chat, two AI models with visual localization features.
Qwen-VL and Qwen-VL-Chat are advanced AI tools that can understand complex visual signals and respond to location-based queries. These models are open source, allowing others to use them as resources for creating their own AI apps. Alibaba’s release of these models, which are not earning licensing fees, could attract more users as tech companies compete for market share. The open-source distribution could help Alibaba attract more users and improve its AI capabilities.
