Route Mobile, Vodafone Idea May Join Hands to Monetise A2P SMS
According to a press release from the cloud communication platform (CPaaS) on Friday, Route Mobile and telecom giant Vodafone Idea have entered an exclusive partnership to provide A2P SMS monetization solutions.
According to the press release, the A2P SMS monetization solutions will be delivered through an analytical firewall solution powered by Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), an SMS Hub on the VIL network, and aggregating global A2P SMS traffic on the VIL network.
The goal of A2P SMS, or Application-to-Person Short Message Service monetisation, is to make money by having software or applications send people automated text messages.
