Coca-Cola Unveils ‘Masterpiece’ NFT Collection
On Base, Coinbase’s Ethereum Layer 2 network, Coca-Cola debuted its “Masterpiece” NFT collection, which includes both traditional and contemporary artwork.
As part of its multi-week “Onchain Summer” campaign, Coinbase made the announcement about the mint on Sunday. The announcement reads, “Coca-Cola is bringing their Global Masterpiece campaign online with iconic works from leading artists.”
The NFT collection combines classic masterpieces like Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring” with contemporary pieces by artists like Aket and Vikram Kushwah. The Coca-Cola bottle is intertwined with the NFTs, inspired by the company’s AI-generated “Masterpiece” ad. There are eight versions available, some of which can be purchased on OpenSea for less than the mint price. Minted via the mint.fun platform, nearly 50,000 NFTs have been minted so far. The mint ends today.
