WhatsApp Working On AI-Powered Image Editing Feature
WhatsApp, a Meta-owned instant messaging platform, is developing an AI-driven feature to revolutionize image editing.
The feature allows users to enhance their images with various adjustments, including background modifications, restyling elements, and image size expansion.
The latest beta update for Android (version 2.24.7.13) includes foundational code for the AI-driven image editor, but it is still under development and not yet available for testing. Users can select options like Backdrop, Restyle, and Expand, each promising unique editing capabilities.
WhatsApp is also working on other features to improve user experience, such as enabling users to interact with the Meta AI service through the search bar. For Android users, WhatsApp may soon allow them to convert voice notes into text, providing an alternative means of communication for those who may face challenges with audio playback or prefer text-based interactions.
