VanEck CEO Predicts All-Time High Date for Bitcoin

Jan van Eck, CEO of VanEck, expressed optimistic views on Bitcoin and its price in a recent television interview. He compared Bitcoin’s performance in the 2010s to gold, comparing it to a “good” period with interest rate increases and downwards.

However, he rejected the idea of Bitcoin being a bubble, stating that it has never outperformed itself in this way.

Van Eck expects Bitcoin to reach all-time highs within the next 12 months and is excited about the halving event in April, which he believes will be technically beneficial for Bitcoin.

He also discussed Bitcoin ETFs, with VanEck among the first companies to file to launch the first spot Bitcoin ETFs. Van Eck speculated that the SEC might approve ETFs all at once, rather than on a firm-by-company basis.
