The Autentica platform aims to enable design owners and OEMs to sell spare parts using NFTs, ensuring genuine OEM replacement parts produced locally on-demand. NFTs prevent IP infringement and liability issues, allowing OEMs control over 3D printing service providers. Funded by Innovate UK, the platform has been tested with 500 customers and an international network of 600 3D-printing service providers.
