As Nigel Farage strengthens his relationship with the company, Stack BTC, an Aquis-listed Bitcoin treasury company led by former UK Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, bought two million British pounds ($2.7 million) worth of Bitcoin on Monday.
As part of their treasury strategy, the firm bought 37 Bitcoin at a price of about $72,385 each, according to a document dated April 13. As of right now, the company possesses 68.1898 BTC.
The acquisition comes after Farage’s previously announced $286,000 equity investment in the company, which has been positioning itself as a means for UK investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin through public markets.
This makes Farage the first sitting member of parliament and leader of a UK political party to openly support Bitcoin.
While Kwarteng said the company had made “massive progress” recently, Farage stated in a video announcing the acquisition that Stack could not be a Bitcoin treasury company without holding Bitcoin.
Farage’s participation expands upon his prior investment in the business in March, when he and Kwarteng purchased a minority 6.31% interest.
With around $18 million in crypto-linked fundraising in 2025 alone, Reform UK has become the most well-known political organisation in the UK during the past year, surpassing both the Conservatives and the ruling Labour Party. Regulators and advocates for openness have taken notice of this development.
