Singapore Workers Are Fastest In Adopting AI Skills

Singaporeans are adopting AI skills at the fastest rate in the world, according to LinkedIn’s most recent Future of Work research.

The study, which used data from 25 nations, discovered that Singapore has the highest “diffusion rate”; since January 2016, the proportion of members who added AI skills to their profiles has increased 20 times.

According to LinkedIn, that is much more than the eight times global average.

The top five countries with the highest rates of the diffusion of AI skills, according to the poll, are Finland (16x), Ireland (15x), India (14x), and Canada (13x).

The report highlights that 53% of teachers’ skills, including lesson planning, curriculum development, literacy, and tutoring, still require human intervention. Generative AI has the potential to augment 96% of these skills, while only 3% of software engineers’ skills require human intervention.
