Salesforce Launches AI Cloud Enterprise Model

In order to strengthen its position in the fiercely competitive AI market, Salesforce is introducing a brand-new line of products.

The newest multidisciplinary effort by Salesforce to add AI capabilities to its product line is called AI Cloud, and it comprises tools meant to deliver “enterprise ready” AI. In many respects, it’s an extension of the company’s March-launched generative AI programme, which intends to integrate generative AI throughout the whole Salesforce platform.

On Salesforce’s cloud architecture, AI Cloud hosts and serves AI models, primarily text-generating models, from a number of partners, including Amazon Web Services, Anthropic, Cohere, and OpenAI. The Salesforce AI research group offers first-party models that support features like code generation and business process automation. Alternatively, clients can use their own infrastructure to store data and bring a model that has been specially trained to the platform.

The AI Cloud’s Salesforce-built models drive new functionality in Salesforce’s key products, such as Data Cloud, Tableau, Flow, and MuleSoft. All together, there are nine models: Sales GPT, Service GPT, Marketing GPT, Commerce GPT, Slack GPT, Tableau GPT, Flow GPT, and Apex GPT.
