Quantum Blockchain Shares Surge With Bitcoin Rally
Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC shares continued to rise on Tuesday, with the bitcoin mining technology firm adding another third to its market value, marking a threefold increase in the previous five trading sessions.
The rally follows the AIM-listed company’s announcement on October 20 that its proprietary mining software was “available as a SaaS client-server cloud application by uploading an upgrade to the mining rigs’ firmware.”
Quantum responded by saying it was “not prepared to share the source code of its methods with any third party.”
Quantum stock, as a crypto-related company, is also benefiting from the recent surge in bitcoin prices, which are up more than 20% week on week.
