NFT Sales Surge 31% This Week

According to cryptoslam.io data from May 14, Bitcoin NFT sales have emerged as a prominent contributor in the digital collectible sales market, across 21 unique blockchains. Ethereum NFT sales continued to reign supreme, with $111.26 million in NFT sales; however, Bitcoin-based NFTs, also known as Ordinal inscriptions, came in second.

According to data, Bitcoin NFT sales secured $5 million, placing it second among the 21 chains in terms of blockchain sales. Bitcoin NFT sales increased by 187.54% over the previous week.

Mythos blockchain’s NFTs also saw a significant increase, with NFT sales increasing by 69.66% to $11.73 million in the preceding week.

Solana, which was formerly ranked second, is now ranked fourth in terms of NFT sales per blockchain.

This week, Ethereum’s Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) took second place with $13.80 million in total purchases over the last seven days.

ORDI BRC-20 NFTs placed fourth this week with $11 million in weekly sales, while Ethereum’s Milady Maker NFT collection ranked fifth with $10 million in sales during the same week.
