MoonPay has introduced a new feature designed to simplify transactions on the TRON blockchain by eliminating the need for users to hold TRX to pay network fees.
The firm announced in an official statement released on Wednesday that it has incorporated the TRON network into its Trade infrastructure, enabling customers to make transactions without holding TRX, the native token of the network, for gas costs.
One of the primary obstacles users have while transferring stablecoins and engaging with decentralized apps on TRON is intended to be eliminated by the functionality, which is first available through Trust Wallet.
Sending cryptocurrency on a blockchain is not always as easy as it seems for many consumers. Even those who only want to transfer or exchange stablecoins on the TRON network had to maintain a modest quantity of TRX in their wallet in order to pay network fees.
Even if users exclusively planned to utilize stablecoins, they would still need to purchase an extra token because transactions could not be completed without enough TRX.
According to MoonPay, this new solution solves that issue. The platform handles the network cost in the background and incorporates it into the transaction rather than requesting users to keep TRX. This eliminates the need for users to purchase TRX beforehand and allows them to conduct transactions using just the assets they already have in their wallets.
Additionally, the integration is compatible with decentralized platforms like SunSwap and JustLend as well as the larger TRON ecosystem. According to MoonPay, the upgrade is designed to make it simpler for customers to transfer assets, engage with blockchain apps, and begin using on-chain services. According to the company, wallets, developers, and companies creating goods on the TRON network may find the modification more convenient.
Giving its customers direct access to gasless transactions on TRON, Trust Wallet is the first platform to provide the capability via MoonPay’s Trade infrastructure.
Gasless transactions are now on TRON.
Great to see this live with @moonpay and @TrustWallet. https://t.co/IWBcbAxHPC

According to Justin Sun, the founder of TRON, the change aligns with the network’s objective of making blockchain technology more accessible to everybody. According to Sun, “TRON empowers millions of users worldwide who rely on the network for everyday payments.”
“The network was created on the belief that blockchains should be accessible, easy to use, and give individuals greater control over how they transact,” he continued. By streamlining stablecoin transactions on TRON and facilitating regular onchain payments for users, the partnership with MoonPay promotes that goal.
Stablecoins are altering how people transfer money, according to Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO and founder of MoonPay, but the process should be straightforward on all blockchains.
MoonPay and TRON have previously collaborated.
The companies collaborated in 2025 to enable US consumers to purchase TRX directly via the MoonPay platform. As part of the network’s strategy to make blockchain technology more accessible to more users, that collaboration originally made it easier for more individuals to access the TRON ecosystem. They could utilize conventional payment methods, which provided customers with an easy way to join the TRON ecosystem without having to go through additional processes.
The new collaboration coincides with MoonPay’s service expansion, which includes the introduction of PayBox, an AI-powered payment tool, and the purchase of Entendre, a platform for financial operations.
