J.P. Morgan Asset Management has created two tokenized money market funds on the Solana blockchain, which will be available to qualifying US investors. This was announced in a press release dated October 22, 2026, with the My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and the JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX) being the first products of this type from the company.
BREAKING: @JPMorganAM’s tokenized money market funds are live on Solana.
MONY and JLTXX are both available to qualified U.S. investors through Morgan Money, with subscriptions, redemptions and token balances handled on one platform. https://t.co/hZBR6Q8wHS

Eligible investors can use the Morgan Money platform to invest in and redeem the funds, with balances being shown at the blockchain addresses.
The funds offer different opportunities, with MONY being a private placement launched in December 2025 that provides its investors with the yield on dollars. In turn, JLTXX is a US-domiciled government money market fund that seeks to invest in a manner that will benefit stablecoin issuers according to the GENIUS Act.
A money market fund typically purchases short-term obligations, with the focus on generating income while preserving capital. Such instruments are seen as liquid and low-risk, and tokenizing them allows investors to take part in this type of investment and own a share in the blockchain token.
J.P. Morgan’s Morgan Money platform enables clients to buy and sell tokens, as well as providing liquidity. Therefore, the company’s decision to tokenize the money market funds and make them available to qualifying investors on the Solana network allows the clients to participate in the offerings. However, as noted in the press release, no changes were made to the funds’ structure and eligibility criteria.
Paul Przybylski, the global head of product for digital and tokenized assets at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, commented on the news, stating that clients deal with various networks and need access to the liquidity on the same networks where they execute their operations. Przybylski added that the launch of the JPMorgan funds on Solana would provide stablecoin issuers and institutional investors with the opportunity to gain access to the products on their networks where they operate.
The news comes as several financial institutions seek to leverage the benefits of being on a blockchain network. For instance, J.P. Morgan itself, together with Galaxy, Coinbase and Franklin Templeton, facilitated a US commercial paper issuance on the Solana blockchain in December 2025. In turn, the Solana Foundation announced an open-source delivery-versus-payment settlement program in October 2026, which is designed to enable financial institutions to settle tokenized assets and cash obligations.
Other organizations are also showing an interest in the space, with Shinhan Asset Management and the Solana Foundation, among others, partnering to offer a tokenized fund denominated in South Korean won to overseas institutional investors in August of this year. In addition, Securitize launched its tokenized US stock entitlements on the Solana blockchain in October 2026, which are backed by the underlying securities on a one-to-one basis.
In spite of the innovations, investors should note that the two funds offered by JPMorgan have specific eligibility criteria to participate. While MONY is only available to qualified investors, both products are subject to the requirements issued by the respective funds. In addition, investors should understand that their investments will not be deposits in the banks and will not be guaranteed or insured by the FDIC or any other government agency. Although the funds seek to maintain a $1 share price, this is not an assurance.
In summary, the announcement of JPMorgan’s investment products available on the Solana blockchain shows that the adoption of digital innovation by financial institutions continues to grow. Even though it is still early to say if the usage of such networks will become widespread, it will be interesting to see if the appeal to investors, institutional or otherwise, will build up.
